¡Aquí estamos otro día más! Hoy os traigo estos cubiertos de madera customizados que darán un toque más personal a vuestra cocina o que podréis convertir en un regalo muy original.
No os hará falta gran cosa, pero, eso sí… armaros de paciencia, porque el pirograbado es más complicado de lo que puede parecer a simple vista, y hacer virguerías es bastante difícil. Si queréis saber como lo he hecho, seguid leyendo, y… ¡Comenzamos!
Necesitaremos lo siguiente:
- Utensilios de cocina de madera. Los míos no podías ser más económicos… ¡Los tenéis en Ikea por 1,50€ los tres!
- Pirógrafo. Yo lo he comprado en Amazon.
- Lápiz y goma de borrar
- Diseños escogidos
Lo primero que debemos tener claro es qué queremos dibujar en nuestros tenedores y cucharas. Pinterest siempre es el mejor lugar para inspirarse, así que podéis probar buscando “símbolos” , “doodles” o “dibujos sencillos”, y seguro que conseguiréis muchas ideas para probar.
Una vez tengamos claro el diseño empezaremos a dibujar a lápiz sobre nuestros utensilios. Cuidado con dibujar con demasiada fuerza: si marcamos demasiado el lápiz y después queremos cambiar el diseño, seguramente la madera quede marcada.
Ahora que ya tenemos nuestras cucharas y tenedores dibujados, y tenemos claro que nos gusta tal y como nos ha quedado, es hora de empezar a quemar la madera.
El kit viene con muchos accesorios, y cada uno será recomendable para un tipo de diseño. Usad el sentido común y no os resultará difícil saber cuál usar, pero sobre todo ¡practicad!
Aunque dibujar con el pirógrafo puede parecer tan fácil como dibujar a lápiz, no lo es en absoluto. Las vetas de la madera dificultan muchísimo la labor, así que lo mejor es ir muy poco a poco, y es por esto que los diseños han de ser lo más sencillos posibles si no tenéis mucha práctica. Lo ideal es hacer pruebas en un trozo de madera antes de comenzar, así podréis usar todos los accesorios y elegir el que mejor os venga para vuestro diseño.
Iremos siguiendo nuestro diseño muy poco a poco, hasta completar cada línea, curva o punto, y una vez terminemos de quemar cada trazo, repasaremos las piezas para comprobar que no se ha quedado ningún rastro de lápiz. En caso de que así sea, los eliminaremos con una goma de borrar.
Es importante que antes de empezar a usar los utensilios les deis un lavado intensivo para eliminar la carbonilla que se le pueda haber quedado en las hendiduras (al fin y al cabo hemos estado quemando la madera).
Una vez los limpiemos estarán totalmente listos para usar, sin problema de toxicidades porque no hemos usado pinturas para su personalización. En mi caso, y desde ya hace tiempo, he usado este jarrón en forma de jarra de Ikea para tener a mano estos utensilios al cocinar. Me resulta muy cómodo tenerlos a mano, y de paso le da un toque diferente a la decoración de la cocina que me encanta.
